Yellow Air Taxi has been evicted from the Hanger at Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. Now, all (1) Yellow Air Taxi plane have been re-located to a hanger at the Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport.
Yellow Air Taxi has gone from 4 airplanes to just 1 airplane because 3 of them have been re-possessed this month.

Yellow Air Taxi is an airline based in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. They have been around for almost seven years. Yellow Air Taxi currently flies to Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay.
Over the years, Yellow Air Taxi has tried to make an image of themselves as a safe, reliable airline to the Abacos Bahamas. This is obviously not true.
Many people may not know that Yellow Air Taxi has had more mechanical issues with aircraft than any other commuter carrier in Ft. Lauderdale. Yellow Air Taxi's most recent incident was when a Cessna 402 crash landed in Ft. Lauderdale after takeoff. The reason? The Pilot forgot to check the cargo compartment doors for safety. One of the doors opened during take off, causing an emergency landing which ended up with a Yellow Air Taxi aircraft in the grass of the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. No passengers were injured, as reported by channel 9 news. However, we came to find out that this was not the first time this specific Pilot has had an incident like this. The same Pilot had this happen twice in Naples Florida just a few months prior. Also, this same Pilot overloaded the aft section of the airplane causing the airplane to tip back and land on its tail while boarding a flight in Treasure Cay Bahamas.
Aside from incidents like this, the worst one was an a Yellow Air Taxi aircraft crashed upon landing in Ft. Lauderdale because the landing gear tore off the airplane. Thank God that no passengers were on board. The reason behind this? A "New" Chief Pilot in training. The new Chief Pilot was landing the airplane when he encountered crosswinds. He was not able to correct the problem and slammed the airplane down on the runway. The force of this caused the aircraft's left landing gear to snap. The damages on the airplane exceeded more than one hundred thousand dollars.
